Thomas is an articling student with WWR who previously spent the summer of 2021 as a student-at-law with our firm. Previously, Thomas worked as a senior consultant with a “Big 4” professional services firm in Vancouver, and with the world’s largest corporate immigration law firm in Singapore and Malaysia.
Thomas is on a broad civil litigation rotation with us at WWR, working with our lawyers on a wide-arrange of matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Federal Court of Canada, and various administrative tribunals.
Thomas maintains an active involvement with the legal community in Canada through the Runnymede Society, a national law students’ organization dedicated to defending the ideas of constitutionalism, freedom, and the rule of law. In law school, he was co-president of the UBC chapter of the Runnymede Society and also worked for the Society’s national organization as its Communications Director. Thomas currently chairs the Runnymede Society’s British Columbia Lawyers’ Chapter.
